Providing artwork in EPS or AI formats.

When we receive an image, we have to convert it for printing or embroidery. You can make the process easier, quicker and cheaper by providing us your image in a high quality vector format such as .EPS, .AI or .CDR. A Vector format describes an image in terms of lines and curves, rather that pixel by pixel, and so transfers to larger sizes much more easily.

EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript – it’s the most common vector format and lots of graphics software support it. AI is the proprietary file format for Adobe Illustrator. CDR is the proprietary file format for CorelDRAW. We’ll also happily take SVG format, although that is less common.

To see if your graphics software supports any of these formats, open up the graphic in your graphics software and select File > Save As… - hopefully there will be a handy option to save as EPS (the most common), or possiblyAI or CDR.

If your artwork is in a format other than these, we will usually need to redraw it, which will incur an extra charge of £30 (but you will be able to use the redrawn logo again and again – not just for our products, but on your letterheads, decals – anywhere you might want your logo).
